My wife and I went for dinner and it was amazing. Manny our server was great, he was smooth, calm, and relaxed. The atmosphere was nice with quiet music going. My steak and prawns were cooked exactly how I asked and my wife's chicken souvlaki was perfect. Definitely competes with the best greek food in the Nanaimo area. Will be going back 100%.
This restaurant is truly amazing! Our server was Katerina herself, and her dad and bother made our wonderful meal. The service was top notch. We shared the saganaki as an appetizer and the platter for two as a main and everything was fresh and delicious. The feta cheese (and olives and oil) flown in from Greece is the best feta we’ve ever had. I don’t recall ever actually enjoying baklava until tonight. We are leaving with enough food to feed us for another meal (in to-go containers that can be reused) and I can guarantee we will be back soon!
I had an amazing experience at Katerina’s West Coast Taverna. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was perfect throughout my visit. The food was absolutely outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and authentically Greek. I ordered the veal cutlets and chicken souvlaki and it was hands-down one of the best restaurant meals I’ve ever had. The ingredients were high-quality, and you can tell everything is made with care. The restaurant itself is cozy and beautifully decorated, which makes your dining experience much better. I highly recommend Katerina’s to anyone looking for delicious Mediterranean cuisine and top-notch service. Can’t wait to come back!

We were the first breakfast customers at Katarina’s. Delicious and plenty of food. We had omelettes and they were wonderful served with Greek potatoes and toast. We will be back, highly recommend.

The food is spectacular, the atmosphere was a very pleasant surprise, and the service was what I would describe as PERFECT. What really struck me right between the horns, is what a hidden gem it is. Situated on the sleepy main street (singular) of Lantzville, BC and marked by an understated sign, is the best Mediterranean restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. Katerina’s Mediterranean has the actual Mediterranean beaten. Things I loved: the decor, great dishes, small/intimate setting, beautiful barn wood wall. Things I didn’t like: (conspicuous silence). I spend a disproportionate amount of my time writing Google Reviews- a fact that has little relevance here. Take a drive in to Lantzville and try this wonderful restaurant- but make a reservation. Where do I begin!! This place makes such unreal food that I can’t pick a star of the show. Everything was fresh and high quality, cooked to perfection and the service was wonderful. You need those lemon potatoes in your life. Absolutely will make the hour drive again. Thanks for fitting us in on Christmas
OMG it's so delicious. My boyfriend is greek and said the food is extremely close to being authentic. The greek salad comes with feta cheese that is made in house and it has such a CREAMY and soft consistency and not too salty at all. I had the souvlaki special with prawn and cod skewer and it was EXCELLENT. The rice and lemon potatoes were exquisite. Just do yourself a favour for ur happiness and come here. Absolutely delicious.
